Who is responsible

Taylor Wyle is responsible for the personal information that this website collects. Taylor Wyle works under Wyle Realty Inc., Brokerage. Send each question about your personal information to Taylor Wyle, at the contact details at the end of this policy.

What we collect

When you contact us, send a message or create an account, we collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number and message. If you create an account, we also keep your username, your login details, the date you accepted our Terms of Use, and what you save, such as listings and searches.

This website and its servers record your activity on it, such as the pages and listings you view, the searches you run, your IP address and your browser. We use this record to keep this website and its listing information secure, and because the MLS® rules make us keep it. If PropTx or a real estate board has reason to believe that this website caused or permitted a security breach, or broke their rules, we give them this record and your account details when they ask. We do not use advertising cookies.

Why we collect it

• To answer your enquiry and give you real estate services.
• To operate your account, and to send you the alerts you ask for.
• To keep this website secure and working.
• To keep the account records and the activity record that the MLS® rules of PropTx and the real estate boards require.
• To meet our legal and professional obligations.

Your enquiry and your account details become part of our client records.

Who we share it with

• Our brokerage, Wyle Realty Inc., Brokerage.
• Our service providers, who host this website and our client records and process them for us. They may use it only to do that work, to keep their service secure and to improve it. Some of them keep it in the United States, where the law of that country can require access to it.
• PropTx and the real estate boards, for auditing and legal purposes, such as to check that this website follows their rules.
• Anyone else, when the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information.

Email from us

We can email you about your enquiry or your account, for example to confirm that you accepted our Terms of Use. We send other commercial email only when Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) allows it, for example for a limited time after you contact us. Every commercial email we send you has an unsubscribe link.

Closing your account

When you close your account, we remove your saved listings and your saved searches, and your alerts stop. The MLS® rules make us keep a record of your name, email address, username and login details for 180 days after you close your account. Then we delete it. We keep the record of your enquiry as part of our client records. To have that record deleted too, ask Taylor Wyle.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for as long as the law and our professional rules require. We keep account records for at least 180 days after you close your account.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent to our use of it, subject to legal and professional record-keeping rules. We answer within 30 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

This website is not for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We can change this policy. A change takes effect when we post it on this page. The date at the top shows the last change.
